Under the competent and expert guidance of Fahrni Fassadensysteme AG, we were able to spend a whole day on a large construction site with four metal construction classes to gain an insight into modern façade construction technology.

We were able to see how the finished façade elements were delivered and installed. Metal construction technician and project manager Simon Zaugg (Fahrni) showed the apprentices on site the important structural details in façade construction and how to plan them professionally and correctly. The sealing connections to the building structure and the bracket construction were explained to us on an already installed window element (photos). The apprentices asked many questions with interest and passion.

It was impressive and exciting to see how such large projects are handled logistically and technically.
